The weekend is a celebration of the art of photography. Over two days, six photographic icons will deliver powerful visual presentations at the beautiful MCEC Centre is Melbourne.
An in-depth panel discussion hosted by Ray Martin will be held with the speakers at the close of each day.
There will be tech-talks, industry trade, interviews, lucky-door prizes and competitions drawn between presentations. Final timetable subject to change.
Aperture Australia is a photographic conference centered on the individual talks of eight industry greats who have spent years mastering their craft. With their diverse portfolio of experience, guests will follow speakers’ stories as they explore the immense variety of situations that life behind a camera can expose you to.

Ray Martin is back again as the face of Aperture Australia 2019. Not only is he a veteran interviewer and iconic television journalist, but Ray is also a keen photographer and will be bringing his respect for the art of photography to the stage. As host of the weekend conference, Ray will introduce each speaker, conduct on-stage interviews and lead the audience through thought-provoking panel discussions.
The MCEC is the premiere, contemporary space located on south bank in Melbourne, Victoria. The venue has easy access to public transport and sweeping views of the city. The venue also offers guests wireless connectivity.
